Glenda Bach, owner of Bach’s Bed & Breakfast fixing up a meal and all Alaska has to offer.

Bach’s Bed & Breakfast, located in a cozy mid-town Anchorage neighborhood offers visitors wanting to learn more about Alaska hungry for more.

With over 35 years of living in the hub community of Bethel, located in southwest Alaska, Glenda has tremendous stories and experiences to share with visitors interested in learning more about all the Last Frontier has to offer.

Spring has arrived and the busy season is upon us–our nightly or weekly rates are cheaper than every chain hotel in Anchorage! If you are wanting to learn about Alaska in more depth, as well as experience a local delicacy or two please consider a stay at Bach’s Bed & Breakfast! Call (907) 717-8683 for rates and availability!

Glenda understands the challenges of traveling throughout bush Alaska, and Bach’s Bed & Breakfast is perfect for travelers from Alaska’s hub communities. Accommodations include large amounts of freezer or refrigerator space for the necessary grocery/shopping trip “Costco Run” and it’s less than a 10 minute drive to Anchorage’s Ted Stevens International Airport, so the cab fare isn’t too shabby either. Check us out!

Come and stay in Anchorage

Happy New Year, 2017 is here and it is off to a mild start. Anchorage still has much to offer, even in the off-season. Travelers can look forward to upcoming mid-winter events such as Fur Rondy, skiing at Alyeska, ice-skating at Westchester and anticipating the basketball March Madness season as well as Iditarod!  Not to mention, business trips turned adventure to anticipating the thrill of enjoying the outdoors that comes in spring and longer days. I enjoy hearing stories from everyone’s day, each one is different and allows me to learn more about the state that I live in. As an Alaskan enthusiast, it surprises me that I can grow to love this place even more through each guest that experiences it for themselves. Here are some pictures from real people enjoying what Alaska has to offer. Enjoy!
