Glenda understands the challenges of traveling throughout bush Alaska, and Bach’s Bed & Breakfast is perfect for travelers from Alaska’s hub communities. Accommodations include large amounts of freezer or refrigerator space for the necessary grocery/shopping trip “Costco Run” and it’s less than a 10 minute drive to Anchorage’s Ted Stevens International Airport, so the cab fare isn’t too shabby either. Come and experience Alaska the way many photographers portray the beautiful landscape.
Summer of 2012 has been an exciting and busy one for bed and breakfast. Guests from around the world kept me on my toes each and every day; this is the kind of summer I love. I got to be apart of a lot of different experiences people were having here in Anchorage; from Whale counting, business trips turned adventure to completing marathons and triathlons. I enjoy hearing stories from everyone’s day, each one is different and allows me to learn more about the state that I live in. As an Alaskan enthusiast, it surprises me that I can grow to love this place even more through each guest that experiences it for themselves. Here are some pictures from real people enjoying what Alaska has to offer. Enjoy!
